Clear Plan must be the soundbite for Conservative. They've just decided after 14 years what they need to do.

They’re not ending charity status, they dropped that plan months ago. The VAT on fees is not related to charitable status, education is currently VAT exempt (and remains as such under EU Law), but now that we are out of the EU the government can do as they wish, including adding VAT to nursery fees, university tuition, afterschool clubs, etc.

Sunak is talking nonsense on the immigration stuff - Suella tried to go down that road and he blocked her. Yet apparently he is going to do it now

I'm still stuck on this additional taxation. Is there somewhere that figure comes from or some place where Labour refutes it?
