Argh! Nobody to vote for!

I just don't know who I can vote for this time.

The Greens seem to have forgotten about climate change, the Lib Dems are obsessed with the trans issue, and the SNP don't know what a woman is.

The Labour Party still refuse to be clear about women's rights, and the Tories are just abhorrent, even though they can define what a woman is.

I've voted Labour and SNP in the past, but I can't this time.

And I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than vote Tory. Or Reform.

Anyone got any good ideas?

I feel similarly too. We don't usually get a vast choice of candidates in this constituency, which is staunchly Conservative.

I could spoil my ballot paper.

There seems to be a rise in indie candidates this year. 🤞 you get one you can vote for.

Yes, I'll be looking carefully at the list of registered candidates when it becomes available.

In this constituency though it is very unlikely that the local Tory incumbent (one Kemi Badenoch) will be unseated. They have a near 27,000 majority.

I've never heard of them.
But if they fielded a candidate here they would get my vote.

I had to look up about this party as we have a candidate in our area.

It is George Galloway and company. From reading their manifesto - they are inherently socialist - nothing wrong with that. But on their blurb they are looking to stop the exploitative marketing guys continuing to rip off the football fans by obliging all clubs to be partly fan-based owned. What has that got to do with running the country??
They are looking to encourage more self sufficiency for the country in farming and national food production. Definitely nothing wrong with that - we need to be more productive and greener and reduce our reliance on imports from abroad.
At this point I lost the will to keep on reading and will pick it up next time I have trouble falling asleep.

The Conservatives could actually be renamed Labour II as they are the most left leaning Conservatives we have ever seen. I don't know what they have been thinking.

I'm hoping the predictions are correct and the conservatives are obliterated this time. At least then they can go away, start again and come back stronger with better leaders and their original values.

I'm not however, looking forward to Labour burning everything to the ground. You think things are bad now? It's about to get a whole lot worse.

Like you though, no idea who to vote for.

It is terriying to know there are people actually thinking like this.

Maybe come outside your echo chamber?

A lot of people feel like this

Nice graph showing the perception of how right/left the Tories were seen in Dec 2023 and before.
