The ads are driving me P-O-T-T-Y, they slow my dinosaur computer down soooo much

I am sure mumsnet don't like people blocking ads, because then they get less revenue.
but the alternative is losing a lot of members who just can't bear how slow these ads make their computers.

perhaps they should reconsider the amount of space given to advertisers, and perhaps think about banning those with moving images and fancy graphics.

It's a nice, tiny download and although it's not super up-to-date, you're not actually installing anything on your machine - just telling porkies to your machine about the location of ad-servers..

...kills a lot of cookie tracking as well.

Please remember though that mumsnet rely on ads for revenue.. ...but the number of people complaining about slow-downs through ads certainly seems to be increasing..
