Apparently there will be an 8 next year, why not just wait for that?

andadietcoke · 08/09/2016 18:23

Yes. My 6+ is at death's door and I can't wait to get rid of it. I'll be signing up to the apple upgrade program though so I have the option to upgrade next year if there is a big upgrade.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 08/09/2016 18:23

I have been putting off upgrading my IPhone 6 Plus so I could consider the 7. I'm a total Apple addict and I'm one of those stupid enough to want every new one Grin

iwantavuvezela · 08/09/2016 18:23

I have no real idea of the iPhone 7, but for me I use a phone to phone, text and when bored or necessary google some information. I am not sure what a new phone could do extra, other than just been a newer model. So for me it is something that I have no real interest in. (Disclaimer not really interested in phones, and use each phone until it no longer works)

MrSlant · 08/09/2016 18:23

WANT.

Cameras have sold it to me, going to sell my pristine 6 plus on ebay to part fund. Also want the waterproof Apple watch. I can't have one but I can read the spec lots of times Grin.

MinnielovesMickey · 08/09/2016 18:24

I have the 6 and due an upgrade next month, I had every intention of waiting for the 7s to come out but I have gone a smashed my screen this week!! Angry

Wondering if it's cheaper to get it fixed for now, I'm paying a fortune for this contract as took it out when the 6 came out, I expect the 7 will be just as much, even more maybe?

AwayAwayAway · 08/09/2016 18:24

Yes I think so! Not straight away, don't wait in queues or overnight but this year sometime

RTKangaMummy · 08/09/2016 18:25

Number 7 does NOT have a headphone socket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

rollonthesummer · 08/09/2016 18:25

What will it cost?!

winterinmadeira · 08/09/2016 18:25

No I won't. I have a 6 and that's good enough for me.

It's wireless headphone RT or the wired headphone can be plugged into the charging bit.

It's a silver six plus, 64GB, on the EE network korma. Had it precisely 3 weeks after an unfortunate incident with the Atlantic and it's predecessor. Was GUTTED as my upgrade month would have been October and I really wanted the 7. Insurance cover now in place Blush.

MrSlant · 08/09/2016 18:32

It won't cover the cost of a new phone but will go a long way hopefully! Also selling the headphones that come with it as I'm deaf (use my phone to run my hearing aids so tied in to Apple!) and they are of no use to me Grin.

Helenluvsrob · 08/09/2016 18:36

Andadietcoke I think that's what I'll do. Pure wantys indulgence , but it ( or the. iPad) are always in use....and dh " needs" my 6 so he can isheep too .... He's finally realised what a smart phone can do, except his motog doesn't, due to lack of RAM!

Is my only real bad habit ( aside yarn and fabric!)

takesnoprisoners · 08/09/2016 18:38

Uhm no. Have all of you actually read the specs? Airpodsis included but the charging cable not included in the box? I can barely track my wired headphones how will I know if the dog ate the airpods? And what do you grab to stop the phone from falling down Confused I have dropped my Samsung atleast 4 times today on a tiled floor and not even a scratch. An iPhone is guaranteed to crack open. I have lost my love for the iPhone since 4S. That was truly the last great phone from them.

ShelaghTurner · 08/09/2016 18:38

Hell yes.

Rose gold, 7 plus preferably 256 but more likely 128 again. Only possible because the sale of my 6s plus will cover it.

Gizlotsmum · 08/09/2016 18:38

I'm tempted but how do you charge it if you are listening to music via the headphones

Kione · 08/09/2016 18:43

I got my 4s when the 5 was released and my 5s when the 6 was released. So now I should really go for the 6s but I find it too big and comfortable.
They have iPhone SE at the shop which I think is for people like me?
Only if the 7 is not as big as the 6 will I be tempted to get it, my contract expired years ago Grin

Kione · 08/09/2016 18:44

*big and uncomfortable

RustyBear · 08/09/2016 18:57

takesnoprisoners - the wireless air pods aren't included, they are sold separately. The iphone7 has wired lightning connector earbuds included, plus an adaptor for 3.5mm jack, so you can grab those if you drop your phone.

MadisonMontgomery · 08/09/2016 19:02

Yes I'm definitely going for the 7 plus I think. My current contract ends on the 5th October, so I'm thinking of signing up to the Apple upgrade programme.

whywonthedgehogssharethehedge · 08/09/2016 19:03

No because I've no need (have a 6s) but I'm also bloody glad I got a 6s because the no headphone socket fucks me off.

I often charge and listen at same time and you won't be able to do that unless you buy the overpriced easy to loose make you look
Like you stuck toothbrush heads in your ears wireless headphones.

ShelaghTurner · 08/09/2016 19:04

I've had every iPhone since launch bar a couple and never cracked one open.

I'll do you all a favour now and tell you the case that I've had this year and adore. It's the best case I've ever had and I've had about 6 million cases!

Loopy Case. No I don't work for them, just randomly came across them on Facebook and they are brilliant!
