Why did I install iOS 8? So irritated by its crapness!

When I close and open the browser it's clunky and takes ages to load the page. When I type, it's umresponsive and slow. Facebook and email keep crashing. The direction arrows at the top of the browser keep vanishing.
It's SLOW!!

Is there any way I can get rid of it and go back to ios 7?

I hate it too and have the problems you do. But he worst thing for me is that my iPad won't connect to my printer anymore.

I'm guessing you mean you're not updating to iOS 8...

First time I read it, I thought you meant you'd seen the query so many times already you were tired of the subject and therefore ignoring it entirely.

Every time I switch on the iPad I get the symbol to download and feel I should but I haven't had one positive story and so far I have ignore it. Really don't know whether to or not, especially as no one has answered OP with whether you can go back. I guess you can't.

Have you downloaded the 8.0.2 update? I have. It didn't help. I'm hoping the next one will come out quickly that will solve the problem. I'm just glad I only updated my iPad and not my phone as well.

I so agree I installed it on my iPads a few days ago, which i'd checked the rivers... the screen constantly freezes, pages disappear, takes AGES to load pages. i wish ! could reinstall iOS 7.

Yes, i was 8.0.2 I downloaded, thinking they'd have fixed the crapness!!

reviews even.... I nearly installed maverick on my iMac, read the reviews and decided not to. Why on earth i didn't do the same thing with the iPads is beyond me.

Don't do it.

Since the update (and the update of the update that was supposed to fix the glitches) our iPad is now taking forever to charge. It's been on charge since 9am this morning and is currently on 52% (started at 24%).

There's nothing wrong with the charger - my un-updated iPhone is still charging fine.

Same problems here. Safari is painfully slow. Once I load a page it sometimes goes white and says something about an error and reloads the page. Wish I hadn't updated either.

Have iphone 6 running ios8 no problems but like everyone else am procrastinating re updating iPad Air !

I switched from an Android phone to an iPhone 12 months ago and am counting down the days of the contract until I can switch back.Other than my iPoD Classic which is ancient and which I love, I'm going with Android all the way

this may be a daft ? butI am a real non tech person and since upgrade my safari when it does work has a menu bar down the left handside that I cannot remove thus making my viewable screen smaller is there anyway can get rid of it ?

Fortunately it needs such a lot of memory there's zero chance of it being put on this phone, (4S) in the foreseeable future.

Anyone know if this is going to get sorted? Or what to do? My ipad seems to be getting worse and worse since ios8 and most annoyingly facetime is competely unusable which we used to use on a daily basis so our parents could see our DD. Am so angry that a company as big as Apple treat their customers like this.
