Quick Kids is a great app, it helps to encourage children to get things done quicker (eating meals, homework, tidying etc). It has an interactive count down timer which is linked to a reward chart - it really helps to motivate children!

My kids love Jumble Jungle. Beautifully illustrated animals faces that come to life and make noises when you swipe your finger across them.

Ooh, thanks for starting this thread op - I've only recently got an iPad and am a bit cagey about paying for apps so all these suggestions are great!
