To continue into Spring 2022.

Unfortunately, I am not sure how many pictures I will be able to supply this year . Some builders are in building an extension for me .
I might have to live off all your lovely photos. Keep them coming!💐

@AnneKipankitoo
What an excellent idea, AK!
Why didn't we think of that? You are brilliant, you are!Wink

I have life in my bulb lasagnes! I did post a while back asking for a plant ID on some bulbs I didn’t recognise the leaves on , believe they are anemones. Whatever they are in amongst the daffodils they are beautiful. I’ve got lots of other lasagne pots at different stages, next year I must make a note of what I plant !

Gave the lawn its first haircut of the year last weekend!

Love this time of year when the garden starts morphing from Winter to Spring 🌻

They are so pretty and delicate in their pale cream with their orange contrast centre

The leaves on my Angelica are so vibrant it's making me really happy. And the blossom on my sloes and the nearly unfurling quince leaves are such hopeful sights!

My dear mum used to call those 'little boy plants' when they were on weekly display at our churchBlush Shock which wasn't too often since
they had to be flown in from Hawaii back in the day

Your little guy looks very healthy Wink

Chasingsquirrels · 24/03/2022 09:11

@Chasingsquirrels

I have a big request...would you PLEASE come to mine to chase the confounded squirrels away before they turn my gardens into 'barren fields' ? They have now started on my passionfruit...I suppose they thought this was a nut...jokes on them as it was an unfertilised fruit so no goodies inside.Hmm
I love your forget-me-nots...I have tried everything to grow them here on the southern Calif.coast but no joy Sad

Sweetpea1532 · 24/03/2022 19:47

Look what happened whilst I was visiting my mum for 3 weeks.. A proper European/Switzerland flower box with red geraniums...my DH confessed to watering them every other day...he keeps calling out.."Honey, I LOVE the flower boxes you planted for me!" Poor diddums, he's easily pleased.
@AnneKipankitoo...just noticed a REAL lemon from my DDs tree on the counter, too.

🤣🤣

Bloody things, they had a real go at my tulip bulbs over the winter.
It's the dog who chases them, not me!

Sweetpea1532 · 24/03/2022 20:07

The hummingbirds just adore building nests amongst the passionfruit vines. 2 years in a row now...mummy wasn't very happy with me taking photos of her house to blast on mumsnet. She was shouting and shouting..chitchitchitchitchit!

@AnneKipankitoo thank you!
DH exclaimed tonight when he got in..."The flowers in the boxes are just exquisite, Honey!" 😂
He keeps me laughing

I wish I could take some credit for that lemon, but I'm just the lemonminder for my DD.Wink
