To continue into Spring 2022.

Unfortunately, I am not sure how many pictures I will be able to supply this year . Some builders are in building an extension for me .
I might have to live off all your lovely photos. Keep them coming!💐

@Sweetpea1532 thank you! The pink one is a Gaura. I cut it to the ground in spring as it was lolling all over the rest of the raised bed - it grew back pretty quickly.

I can't beat @AnneKipankitoo's pithiness - but, oh my, tidy indeed!

Sweetpea1532 · 18/11/2022 01:58

@AnneKipankitoo @WobblyLondoner you've both got that right!
Surprise!
I'm Shipping a big box of ground squirrels your way as Christmas gifts...you, too can enjoy a 'tidy' garden Hmm

Sweetpea1532 · 18/11/2022 02:02

@WobblyLondoner don't you just love it when a plant takes to a particular spot?I'm going to try some guara here because we have lots of Mason bees.

This plant has flowered desire being moved from pot to garden.
I thought I may loose it at one point.
The photo doesn't really do it justice as it's quiet big.

And I've got snowdrops coming up

I saw some snowdrops in bloom yesterday in central London. I don't know how unusual that is but certainly seemed odd to me.

Sweetpea1532 · 20/11/2022 08:18

Wow, @Robin233 everything looks so nice and tidy..are those lavender violas?

Robin233 · 20/11/2022 12:43

@Sweetpea1532
Thank you
Yes Viola
After doing more research it turns out that my 'snow drop' shoots are in fact - Grape Hyacinths. And shoots coming up in Fall is completely normal lol

Walking through Russell Square yesterday, there were massive drifts of Astrantias in bloom - in November!

What are people doing about annual seedlings popping enthusiastically up in beds? I’ve transplanted a few healthy looking Lavateras to flowerpots in the potting shed and pinched out the growing tips, but lord knows what time of year they think it is!

Sweetpea1532 · 21/11/2022 09:13

😂 @KingscoteStaff
@Robin233 😂

hoochyhag · 21/11/2022 12:31

Robin233 · 23/11/2022 12:26

@hoochyhag
Thanks.
Not sure what your shoots are...,

The weather's been a shocker in Victoria: three months of exceptionally cold winter followed by three months of very cold spring. Rain, rain, sodding rain and bitter cold southerly winds.

However, Summer arrived this week.

An aspect of this is that trees/shrubs in particular are blooming late so that they'll be out together at Christmas, when they they would have been fading. I'm thinking of the jacaranda I can see down the street, paperbark, agapanthus and the one I'm showing here, my bougainvillea.

@echt
I'm glad your bougainvillea doesn't look like mine! I think the heavy winds caused it to drop its leaves and flowers☹️

Sweetpea1532 · 19/01/2023 06:49

Whatever is happening my lemon tree loves it

@Sweetpea1532
Look at that fabulous lemon tree
My lemon 'plant ' has gone in the bin.
Brought it with 1 lemon on
Flowered well
Baby lemons appeared and then they all fell off lol

AnneKipankitoo · 19/01/2023 15:16

Gorgeous @Robin233 and @Sweetpea1532 .

I have 3 small lemon trees. No fruit.
My amaryllis are not doing well. My lasagne pots are showing signs of life .
