Best amaryllis I ever seen - and mum and Grandma used regularly grow them.

By Jove! I think they are right...it does look like honeysuckle...I should've caught that as I spent my childhood surviving on honeysuckle nectar at school recess...yum!

So much for my visions of DGS picking apples with me out in their backyard garden😭 I planted 2 trees last Fall...no fruit yet, of course, but they will need to be taken out as apples attract wild boar 🥺🐗🐗🐗🐗🐗🐗🐗🐗🐗🐗🐗🐗🐗😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫
And they can have 4 inch tusks...suggested to climb a tree if they try to attack you😂

This is my Stanhopea orchid. Only one bud this year, though each produces two huge flowers. My NDN says they smell like heaven should smell: chocolate.

I somehow missed your last photo of your amaryllis blooming in all it's glory...you really do have a green thumb. Have you ever had another amaryllis growing in that same window location? It really seems to have thrived there. 1st prize goes to AK 🏆

I have not tried an amaryllis before @Sweetpea1532. It was a gift .
From the instructions on the box , I thought I would have no luck as my house is too cold but it has performed way beyond my expectations.
There is another flower head growing.
