@BewareTheBeardedDragon we have lots of similar things in our gardens 😊. Our anemones are a good few weeks behind yours though. Love the verbena. Some of our varieties are over 6 feet tall now!

@Mamia15. Such beautiful roses 🌹

Today I give you a jumbled cottage garden with Veronica, perennial geranium (which grows like a beautiful weed 🙈) and Sweet William.

Gorgeous @catwithflowers! Tall verbenas rock, mine are in amongst my sweet corn bed.

Love the sneaky peony @Mamia15

And everyone's roses 😍

So many beautiful pics, too many to mention.

I'm excited because my Spanish Flag plants are about to flower, readying themselves!! Grin

Wow, some amazing photos today! (As always really! 😁)

Love your cottage garden @catwithflowers.

@Mamia15 what stunning Roses!🌹

That's a lovely colour on your Lavender @AnneKipanki. Mine are nowhere near as vibrant.

@BewareTheBeardedDragon I'm sitting on my terrace at the moment imagining how gorgeous the smells are on yours! I had a Star Jasmine too but the slugs ate right through the stems at the base and killed it 😡

From me today: another Lily has opened, a Phlox, and a California Poppy (the first time I've tried these seeds).

Omg, the striped phlox is awesome! Didn't realise that slugs would even eat star jasmine, bloody bastards AngryAngryAngry

AnneKipanki · 14/07/2020 19:01

Thank you 😊 It was a rescue from the shelf of doom a couple of years ago.

I didn't realise they'd eat it either, was so gutted when I discovered what had happened! I've kept the little stumps that remain just in case (inspired by a previous poster - sorry can't remember exactly who 😬 - who said never give up even if you think it's a lost cause) and I have about 2 inches of new growth. It's a start, but it's not quite the same!!

BestIsWest · 14/07/2020 20:20

Had a lovely day today at Aberglasney gardens. Just stunning. Such a tranquil place.

Very pretty. Love the array, cat.

Some buddleia flowers, pansies, and an old tub out the back with some wax begonias and a geranium in it.
