Of our gardens, plants and flowers?

Here are some of my current blooms from around my garden; Cistus, Hydrangea and Mallows, all pink Smile

(I think mumsnet only allow 3 uploads)?

Viburnum?

AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 18/01/2020 11:49

Maybe, although that's showing up as a shrub (google). There are lots of them in bloom in my area in February, and they're very similar to cherry blossom. Prunus something or other!

My primroses and snowdrops just now, and weeds 😑
It's sunny and 0 degrees, so beautiful Smile

Just googled prunus and it could be, will take a photo on Monday. It makes sense I suppose. Wow, those primroses are looking amazing, a lovely burst of colour at this time of year

Ah , yes , one of the 3 friends of winter.

AnneKipanki · 19/01/2020 07:36

Pine Tree , Bamboo , and Plum .

Hellohello2020 · 19/01/2020 07:37

I'll take some pictures, but my proudest part is a small patch of earth, which was full of boridge and brambles. More to go though

AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 19/01/2020 20:58

@userxx Yes, please post a picture, and even if we don't know what it is, we can still marvel at its beauty Smile I know that I could go to my local nursery and ask the lady there, but then I would feel like I should buy one Confused
I probably will

I was feeding the birds today and noticed one of my African daisies still in bloom Smile

@AnneKipanki I hadn't heard that, it's lovely

Hellebores, both handed over the fence by my very generous neighbours.

Oh they are just beautiful. I adore snowdrops - so delicate but resilient

I saw daffodils at the weekend. I thought it's quite early for them? A reminder that spring is not far away Smile

All beautiful.

I just noticed my red camellia's first bloom, despite all the snow and ice.
I have a pink too, with dozens of buds about to burst into bloom. I'll post a picture when in full bloom

@AnniePankettonne Could it be sweet box? Or a daphne? I have this which is similar -it was given to me as a Oleander cutting but it looks more like a sweet box I picked up from the shelf of doom.

Sorry I meant @AnneKipanki ! Also this Pieris looking rather fine for February. I never used to rate evergreens, but I have a new garden (coming up to 2 yrs) and have started to understand the need for a bit of structure and backbone in winter. This may be because I realised I can't afford to fence it right now - and by the time I can I could probably have grown a nice thick hedge!
