Here are some of my current blooms from around my garden; Cistus, Hydrangea and Mallows, all pink Smile

My Phlox coming into bloom.

I have a huge flowerbed of Phlox, I'll post a picture when it's in full bloom - in a week or so?

We just moved in before christmas, so pretty much everything that pops up is a surprise, this year we're seeing what works and what we like and then next year we'll try to make more sense of the garden.

The meadow turf is in. it's taking well and even though we are off on holiday, the complicated network of hoses, timers, sprinklers and sprinkler hoses should keep this enormous investment alive...

When I'm back I'll post some pics - and might even have some queries about what's what..

AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 25/07/2019 12:47

Please do @MzHz Smile

I took these pictures just now; my Hydrangea and red rose

Ah. Phlox, yes I need some of that! I've taken notes from this thread and have been buying plants from eBay when I see something I want. Thank you everyone!

AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 25/07/2019 17:58

I bought boxes of these today

I have to wait until September to sow
And some might not even flower in their first year 😭

@cornstarch I hope you get your Phlox Smile

Taken through the bedroom window (with screens) so not the best, but I surely do have a rose garden.

And one lonely perfect yellow peony. Right at the back, so I have to seek it out to enjoy the perfection.

Wollerton Old Hall rose, got it last weekend and I'm hoping to train it up a pillar and onto a horizontal trellis

Lovely hydrangea, Always, the flowers look like butterflies.

Urban, that's amazing, so many flowers and so much colour!

My garden is more on the green side. I've shared the pic of when it was new around June 2017, but here's one as well that I took just today.

Lovely photos. Thank you all for sharing!

More of mine from yesterday (when it rained - Roses) and today - Apples & a bee on my Echinacea/Purple coneflower

I know precisely zero about fruit trees, but don't think our leaves or apples look particularly healthy. We have 3 together. I love the blossom in the spring Smile
