He really was @CinnamonOrangeCremeBrulee .

I watched the 1st episode of marriage. They had more minutes of tense silence in that hour than we’ve managed in 34 years. I thought James Bolam was incredible though as the gaslighting Dad.

Wheresthebeach · 17/08/2022 23:15

Well we’ve distracted ourselves with kitchen planning. Spent 3 hours at wren at the weekend designing a new kitchen, DDs first question-

where’s the fridge?

doh…

icanbewhatiwant · 17/08/2022 23:15

Loving the pet pics. I've shown our dogs so here's ds3's pet. I'm hoping ds2 has looked after it.

Awww!@KingscoteStaff A complete bundle of cuteness.

Fiddlersgreen · 17/08/2022 23:33

Not my cat but is always in my garden and tries to sneak into the house often.

I’ve met the front man of my favourite band quite a few times as I’m a little obsessed and have waited around before and after concerts (not a stalker!) 😂

Met Dermot O’Leary a couple of years ago, he was lovely.

I'm awake. Sorting my car insurance and a CCJ against a company that won't give me a refund in County Court Claim. Is this where I'm supposed to be, until 8.15am?

horrificbiology · 18/08/2022 06:45

I had an awful nights sleep.

Zebracat · 18/08/2022 06:55

Well. We can be here or on the real one. I have a distraction about a distraction!
I cooked an elaborate dinner last night, adapting an Ottolenghi recipe to the stuff I had. I never thought I would write such a thing, I don’t like cooking! I didn’t have pomegranate or pomegranate molasses, but I do have a tree full of plums. So I made a version of Fesenjoon by slowly caramelising 2 onions and grated carrots, adding walnuts and stock, and as many plums as I could be arsed to stone. It was like the best tomato sauce ever. Absolutely gorgeous, and cats

Zebra your Fesenjoon (never heard of that before) sounds dribblingly good.

CinnamonOrangeCremeBrulee · 18/08/2022 07:33

This is just here for those that need to take their mind off the R word. I actually just spent an hour watching whatever videos popped up on my Facebook. That was good , some extracts of American crime dramas.

Wheresthebeach, DH’s elderly uncle had a Wren kitchen fitted and it was shockingly awful - he was completely ripped off and left with a half finished kitchen and no customer service AND it cost a fortune!

EquallyDivided · 18/08/2022 13:30

We used our own fitters not the Wren ones
