Truthfully not a lot - although paying a pittance for a place to live ranks pretty high - at least it means there is no huge rush to move into my own home - I wont be made homeless for a few years yet!

Thought of another thing relating to uniforms, kinda - Duty Sex! (When hubby used to do duties he would have to wear 3 diff uniforms thru the day - which I would proceed to rip off and send him back to work with a smile on his face)

The social life, camp life

Social life, great for work as a CM , def Dh in Bike uniform, what Im used to I suppose 3rd Generation Military Wife.

MamaD where are you, most of my Mums (I'm a CM are serving soliders)

Best bits - DH being away now and then keeping the spark there
Worst bit - DH being away now and then leaving me knackered single parent

Have you seen the light weight RAF uniform? It's not always attractive DH doesn't have the nicest legs

Oh and the uniform of course, DH coming into my office in uniform carrying roses on my 30th was one of the most romantic days of my life

MammaD do raf do the 3 uniforms in one day thingy? Could sooooooooooo do with a bit of that at the moment d/h basra .

You see it is quite hilarious really i wanted to post please list the pro's of being a military wife? as with d/h being a way well we are all too aware of the negatives!!! Then Cod started the other thread and well it is nice to come home from work/ school run to have some nice replies

My dh is in the RFA and I laugh at his hot weather uniform. White shorts and long white socks!

Shoshable: I'm in the West Midlands.

Mylastrolo: I doubt it. It was a 'Regimental' quirk. No 2 Dress followed by No 1 Dress followed by combats and lost of marchiing up and down rubbish - kept me happy tho'!

Another thing I thought of - Regimental Dinners - I love all the pomp and ceremony and also the 2 vodkas (or pint of lager) for £1 !!!!

The thing i loved the most was when our divorce papers came through after 13 years!
