Vegetarian Lasagne or chilli

Got a veggie coming to stay at the weekend - anyone got a recipe to make an interesting chilli or veggie Lasagne, seems boring I know but thought it would be easy (they do eat cheese etc)

i try not to cook 2 meals any more- but did when dd was littler.she is 10 now and has a huge appetite and will eat meat or veggie versions of most things. we all eat fish so that makes it easy. if i am doing chops or steaks or burgers, dh usually wil have a quorn grill or beanburger in place of that and then we will all eat spuds/pasta/ rice and vegetables.

No, cod is best with a herby pesto crust, placed under a hot grill or flamed on the BBQ.........

or cut into goujons and deep fried.........

Or smashed into little pieces and thrown in a pie.

wwb - was a bit shocked about quorn using battery eggs so emailed them to find out more, thought id let you know their reply:

That's interesting. My dh has been involved with Marlow Foods production over the last few years, and the last time he was there (a couple of months ago) they were definitely still using battery farmed eggs for some of their products.

It's nice to hear that they are finally in the process of changing to free-range for all of their range.

am still a bit tho - i assumed they would at least use barn eggs

I have never liked the way that they have put themselves over as the main vegetarian alternative to meat, when up until recently the Vegetarian Society has been unable to approve their products. I know that some people aren't concerned about these things, but some are, and may not have realised what they were eating.

At least they're doing something about it now - better late than never, I suppose.
