Just sorting through my kitchen cupboards and have found 3 tins of chickpeas.

Anyone any ideas what yummy things I can make with them please?

Soup may not be your thing in this warm weather... but this recipe is absolutely divine.

That soup looks so easy kiwibella. I've printed it off and added it to my chickpea dishes

I wouldn't worry about that Riven bet it's still lovely.

I make loads of chickpea salad especially in this weather. I use two lemons, a big bunch of parsley, chopped olives/apple/celery/onion and olive oil and cider vinegar, salt and pepper. It's nice scooped up with pitta breads.

Chickpea and walnut salad

1 tin chickpeas (drained)roughly chopped
2oz walnuts finely chopped
1 clove garlic crushed
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil

I use food processor to chop the walnuts then the chickpeas. Combine all ingredients and season with black pepper and pinch salt. Delicious and full of protein!

I make this with chickpeas sometimes. It's gorgeous.

Guadalupe that sounds gorgeous I'll be having that for tea I think.
