Am amazed at how many people think it is a grain, or a grain in itself, rather than made form wheat.

It was originally rolled by hand from semolina flour mixed with water, then coated in wheat flour.

How time consuming thT MUST HAVE BEEN.

pointy it is pasta. Nutritioan value same as that of any white carbohydrate, it supplies energy to the body.

I asked my dd if she knew what it was last week as she was eating it, as she has decided she doesn't like pasta but will eat cous cous
