Lindt chocolate balls - the ones wrapped in red foil? Can't remember their name. Oh I am so cultured! .

However i was also pg and they sated an immense chocolate craving so I could be biased.

Unfortunately DH does not spoil me with enough sophistated chocolate, just Thorntons!

Leonidas

Def Leonidas. So scrummy, especially the fresh butter creams.
You can buy them online here:

Best chocolates come from Paul Young. Better than Artisan du Chocolat, and much better than Thorntons (ick).

Shops next to Bank of England and in Islington. No mail order because he reckons they need to be eaten fresh.

The Sea Salted Caramel is nice, so is Kalamansi. Not sure if I tried the Marmite Ganache.

They are something like £1.50 per chocolate, but if you go into the shop they often have tasters by the door. If you can grab two you're doing well.

oh this isn't fair - I need leonidas chocs now but they don't seem to do them on-line. We used to have a shop here but it closed down - manon blanc, so beautiful.

Lint chocs... I love them...

moaningminnie2020 · 17/04/2009 18:59

Best chocs i EVER had from here, can buy online I think or shops in Ludlow and Shrewsbury - been having a box for birthdays/mothers day etc ever since DH discovered them for me.

For more everyday treats, definately Lindt or Thorntons. They often have the Lindt Lindor bars quite cheap in Asda so I get them most weeks

Hotel Chocolate I found very unmemorable.

Lindt Lindtor Truffles are the best ever. Better than Leonidas. Like liquid gold.
