I roasted a chicken in my slow cooker today!!!!!

.................and it was brilliant!!!! I have to admit i am a veggie so i don't actually know what it tasted like! But i have it on good authority that it was really moist and tasty!!!
So easy!!

i really wd like to do a whole chicken, but what if you are not at home to turn it down from high to low?

will it cook ok on low all day when i am at work? dont want us all getting salmonella!

i leave for work at 8am and we eat at 5pm - will that will be enough?
