I'm not going to beat around the bush here as I can't stand those threads that keep you guessing, it's really quite gross.

It was a Tesco Tomato and Mozzarella Pasta bake, it was really quite good for a micro meal and got half way through it when I found...........................................................................................
A Toe nail! It looked as though someone had torn off the top of their nail - not an entire nail but still

I'm not sure what to do about it really. I've kept the packaging, the other half of the pasta and the nail. Do I take it straight back to Tesco? or phone customer complaints dept?

Gross gross gross. I am not a mad keen fish eater at the best of times.

I once bought some salmon in Tesco and when I unwrapped it I almost vomited because of the smell. I flung it outside, couldn't even stomach taking it back. It must have been left outside the chiller as it was 'in date'. Have never since bought pre-packed fish.

I'm afraid there was a thread on here a little while ago about eating fish worms

My ds found a small snail in his Sainsbury's mixed veg last year. I rang them straight away and they were very apologetic and explained how it could have happened then gave me loads of Nectar points, paid for my Christmas shop

Finger nail in apple turnovers from Sainsbury's. Returned disgusting items and pathetic gestute made - £5 voucher. However, they also sent the package and product to be tested and I later got a letter of apology from some sainsbury food hygiene place - which made me feel a little better. However, another bunch of vouchers would have made me happier still!

Ds got a fingernail stuck between his teeth from a brand new chunk of Wyke cheese when he was a toddler. I wanted to send it back, but thought it'd go missing so didn't bother in the end .

Fish worms are, sadly, quite common and not at all bad for you. The only real solution is to prepare and chop your fish with your eyes closed, but that tends to be hazardous in the finger department...
