Habbibu · 30/10/2008 14:49

Habbibu · 30/10/2008 14:52

BroccoliSpears · 30/10/2008 14:53

I must admit I love cheddar (proper Montgomery cheddar for pref) and I couldn't do without stilton, and Somerset Brie is OK. but never to eat French cheese again? Or even real Greek Feta?

BroccoliSpears · 30/10/2008 14:53

Cheddar is "gorge"us. Ho ho.

myredcardigan · 30/10/2008 14:55

Somerset brie just isn't the same somehow!

Blu · 30/10/2008 14:57

UK,
Lancashire
Cheshire
Red Leicester
Tithby Cream Cheese

but I would miss good brie and halloumi, vignotte, ...actually the thought of Vignotte has perhaps swung it...

Kathyis6incheshigh · 30/10/2008 14:58

UK. All those lovely Cheddars. And Stinking Bishop for when I want something strong.

BroccoliSpears · 30/10/2008 14:58

Ooh Halloumi. Where's that from?

elkiedee · 30/10/2008 14:58

The Netherlands for me too, Gouda's my favourite cheese and I prefer Edam as a backup.

citronella · 30/10/2008 14:59

Mmmm, Brie, Camembert, Chaumes,Cantal, Tete de moine, etc, etc etc.

Kathyis6incheshigh · 30/10/2008 15:00

Orm have you tried Yorkshire Fettle? (They changed it from Yorkshire Feta because they got in trouble with the EU). It's respectable, I think (though we are still waiting for someone in the Dales to have a go at Yorkshire Halloumi.)

TheSwarovskiCrystalsGoat · 30/10/2008 15:00

i notice noone will be missing cottage cheese [boak]

citronella · 30/10/2008 15:01

oh yuk Swarovski!

CrushaGrape · 30/10/2008 15:03

UK, almost entirely due to the very significant role that Stilton plays in my life. As much as I love Brie and Parmesan, the loss of Stilton would be too much to bear.

poshbloodencrustedwellies · 30/10/2008 15:04

Halloumi is Greek (bit salty for moi)

Has to be the UK,couldn't be without a extra mature cheddar

jooseyfruit · 30/10/2008 15:06

OrmIrian · 30/10/2008 15:07

MadameCastafiore · 30/10/2008 15:08

MadameCastafiore · 30/10/2008 15:08

Yummy yummy

Kathyis6incheshigh · 30/10/2008 15:08

Jooseyfruit!
Any chance of you having a go at some halloumi?

Kathyis6incheshigh · 30/10/2008 15:09

oh I love these cheese threads. They don't happen often but sometimes we get a really good one.
