like, how long do you have? these are regulars in our house (except the last two are a bit more rare, no particular reason)

  • minestrone
  • split pea and ham
  • bean and vegetable
  • tomato and pasta
  • lentil and spinach
  • chicken and veg
  • kidney bean with avocado salsa

happy to provide recipes, they are all yum

OOo, lentil and spinach and Kidney bean soup recipes please. Forgot to mention I am veggie.

I am determined to make pumpkin soup this year but all previous attempts have been miserable failures. The only time it worked was when I used tinned pumpkin instead of a real one.

I was a bit disturbed to see that Delia uses frozen mash in her leek and potato soup. I didn't even know you could get frozen mash.

Thanks for all the ideas. I have complied a list!

Delia does a nice sweetcorn & pumpkin soup, one of my favourites. I'm making carrot & sweet potato tomorrow but perhaps I should make a different one for a change!

Superbunny

I do find roasting the pumpkin in it's skins does seem to give more flavour.
