frisbyrat · 29/08/2008 23:08

Yes.

thingamajig · 29/08/2008 23:08

never

TheRealMrsOsborne · 29/08/2008 23:10

You NEED butter on as well

ThatBigGermanPrison · 29/08/2008 23:11

No, never, not for the kids either.

Ds1 makes them anyway. I don't make sandwiches that don't require cutting in this house - ds1 makes them.

katch · 29/08/2008 23:15

I have to have butter and jam as well, otherwise I'm spitting feathers (probably because I use about a tablespoonful per slice, as I get hungry unless I have a lot of protein).

pointydog · 29/08/2008 23:19

yuyk yuk yuk, no

2shoes · 29/08/2008 23:20

YES

Flibbertyjibbet · 29/08/2008 23:22

Yes you need butter other wise the peanut butter just clumps up and makes holes in the bread.

My excuse and I'm sticking to it

flyinglizzards · 29/08/2008 23:22

No butter

use strawberry Jam

also jam and peanut butter on plain digestives - yyummmmmm

flyinglizzards · 29/08/2008 23:23

peanut butter, then jam on top of course!

Guadalupe · 29/08/2008 23:24

No butter, it makes the peanut butter slide about the toast in rank rivulets.

Our neighbour used to sprinkle SALT in though when we were little.

Dalrymps · 29/08/2008 23:25

Yes for toast no for sandwiches.

Twiga · 29/08/2008 23:25

Yes and jam and always white bread!

EachPeachPearMum · 29/08/2008 23:26

nope.
If you spread the PB onto really hot toast, it all meltsa and goes lovely anyway!

flyinglizzards · 29/08/2008 23:26

JAM

ShinyPinkEELSwithShoesOn · 29/08/2008 23:29

nappyaddict · 29/08/2008 23:39

OP posts:
flyinglizzards · 29/08/2008 23:42

yes if forgot bananas with jam and pb
lovely

SalLikesCoffee · 29/08/2008 23:59

I always try and persuade myself that as long as I skip the butter, it's really health food Pb = protein, honey = natural antibiotic (conveniently ignores the bread and the fact that I don't actually need more protein or fat...)
