what's wrong with those?!

DS2 will only have Dairylea (actually cream cheese but he thinks it's Dairyea ) or maybe cheddar if he's really hungry.

DS1 will only have butter

ChippyMinton · 22/05/2008 22:12

no idea. DS1 has spent 2 years eating ham sandwiches, DS2 has spent the last year eating marmite rolls

WilfSell · 22/05/2008 22:12

billy bear ham?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 22/05/2008 22:13

you're lucky you have a choice!

ChippyMinton · 22/05/2008 22:16

mine widen their repertoire at weekends to include bacon

BoysAreLikeDogs · 22/05/2008 22:17

Cheese and cucumber
Banana and cream cheese (delish)
Cream cheese and finely chopped apple

Bit of a cheese theme goin' on down here, can you tell that I have 1 veggie child?

Cold or hot bacon

I love the idea that you complain your child is only eating red pepper and cucumber sandwiches Sounds so healthy! I had spam sandiwhces for a year when I was little.

Is there really any problem with giving a child the same thing every day?

I'm not sure they like the variety (would kill me now to do that but back then? Not really...)

southeastastra · 22/05/2008 22:22

oh my 14 year old son lives on chicken roll sandwiches so i'm probably no help

madamez · 22/05/2008 22:23

Guacamole
Grated cheese mixed with pesto
cold roast beef

MrsBadger · 22/05/2008 22:23

you can grill bacon in bulk at the weekend - cool on kitchen paper and keep in in a tupperware in the fridge

[considers late-night BLT]

SlartyBartFast · 22/05/2008 22:23

no probably nota problem to give same thign everyday, in reception he had peanut butter sandwhiches eveyr day! but i know mumsnetters are so wise, some of us, i thought i woudl get some good advice, which i ahve!

GrimmaTheNome · 22/05/2008 22:25

I hope no americans are reading this thread - faggot indeed!

my DD's ONLY idea of a sandwich is a white unbuttered breadroll and a piece of cheese. At the moment not even inside each other. Lucky her school does lunches! But at least its easy and indestructible when shoved in a rucksack for picnic up a hill.

fishie · 22/05/2008 22:25

ham and lettuce is really nice though, i have it most days.

any luck with sun dried tomato? lovely with egg, hummous, anythign really.

SlartyBartFast · 22/05/2008 22:35
