Not for a celebration or a present. Just say to drink with your Sunday lunch.

actually, maybe I spend less than that hmmm. Dh drinks a lot more wine than me so he tends to buy it. Don't know. Not sure why I answered really lol.

I normally pay around £8.00.

DH who NEVER drinks had some red wine the other day, It wasnt a rich red more of a fruity looking red. I had a sip it was very nice.

IT WAS SAINSBURYS BASICS RANGE £2.28 a bottle

He did it to prove a point that I dont need to spend half the housekeeping on wine.

I sent him into Sainsburys yesturday to buy more

DH got a case of something (Hardy's?) which is quite good and comes out at less than £5 a bottle. Friend had lunch with us today, turned up with a £2.49 bottle which was perfectly good "quaffing" wine.

Xmas birthday etc worth spending a decent amount though (if we have it - sometimes we do, sometimes we don't).

average £5.50 to £8

Normally about £5 - pref as reduced as possible.

I am quite partial to badger's creek from Aldi though which is about £3.50

We buy a case from Majestic and spend about £80-£90. They are always fab wines. We don't go out as much as we used to so figure we can spend a bit more on booze to drink at home. Customer service in majestic really good. They actually seem to value you!

I wish I had some in the house right now.
