Anyone else starting to think about getting their arses back in gear?!
Mine for the next week
Tomorrow: baked Camembert with nice bread (not quite over Christmas yet!)
Saturday: Thai green veggie curry
Sunday: NYE - will be sitting in with a dog terrified of fire works, might just order a pizza
Monday: Tuscan bean stew and sourdough
Tuesday: west African peanut stew
Wednesday: some sort of pie with all the leftover veg
Thursday: gochujang tofu

should we start up a 2025 thread?! The rest of this week is likely to be:

Tonight: immunity boosting Japanese soup with tofu and veg
Tomorrow: veggie and meaty bolognese but with rice instead of pasta
Friday: undecided
Saturday: out for dinner

Doing another sort of Christmas dinner tonight.
Then we’re away.
Then back to planning for next week.

Sunday we had roast lamb, roast potatoes and roasted butternut squash (leftovers of squash made into lunchtime soups with half of the turkey stock I'd frozen).

Monday DH and I went out - burger and a fried chicken dish. Simples.

Tuesday was duck breast with cauliflower and potatoes.

Tonight, proper pizza with HM focaccia.

Tomorrow, as DH's last night, I think he wants something simple so possibly a chicken sweet'n'sour.

I need to do a big food shop on Saturday to replace a lot of things they've used up while they are here for 2 weeks - ready for the next visitors and also general restock for me. So I think the weekend dinners will depend on what is good and on offer.

Can’t remember what’s in the oddbox so this might change depending on Fridays delivery:

Tonight: veggie sausages/breaded chicken, chips, carrots and peas
Tomorrow: fish pie
Saturday: DH and I are out
Sunday: salmon, jacket potatoes and broccoli
Monday: creamy salmon pasta (got a huge side of salmon in the freezer!)
Tuesday: bolognese (veggie and meat)
Wednesday: African peanut stew

Today
Leftovers pie topped with all butter puff pastry,mashed potatoes,shredded sprouts and peas

Sat- pasties from leftovers ,chips and vegetables

Sunday- chicken and bacon pasta with peas and mushrooms

Monday-stir fried vegetables with noodles

Tuesday- fajitas with southern fried chicken tenders,veg and dips

Wednesday-butternut and sage linguine with walnuts and pecorino

Thursday-beef stew ,mash and cabbage
