Actually, the confit has been there quite a while! one of those impulse buys when the supermarket had a special on French food. Will have to try it one of these days.

We had crocodile as well,it stank of cat food! This just sits at the back festering as even dp isn't brave enough to open it.

Tinned mandarins with proper vanilla ice cream were a serious pregnancy craving for me and I still love it.
Sometimes with crushed ginger biscuits ontop.

Lychees are good in fruit salad, and in curry.
The feckers are way too expensive and too much hassle to buy fresh and in season so tinned is the way to go.

Re the lychees, I usually put them whole in a creamy recipe, such as a Korma or Kashmiri, very tasty!
