Who is having a Sunday Roast today

Roast Chicken, Yorkshire Puds, Mash, Roasties, carotts, leeks, cabbage and cauli with lashings of gravey.

Oh, sounds lush. A tuna sandwich doesn't really compare does it?!

My DH and our 2 children . They've gone to my MIL's and are going to see a pantomime later.

I was supposed to be going with them but I've got horrible cold / sore throat so stayed at home in bed.

My MIL is an excellent cook, too!

We are off to my parents for dinner soon and my mum is the best cook ever
DH is hoping for Roast Beef - I'm hoping for Lamb

Roast chicken... but WTF has happen to my roast parsnips? I peeled a bout 50, and now there are a few little sticks in the pan.[bewildered emoticon]

I wish I was...our oven broke this week and we're wating for a spare part!

yum. hadnt had one for aaaages

Me. Chicken,homemade stuffing, roast potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, home made gravy

Left over Chicken will be made into a carrot leek and chicken pie for tomorrows supper

we are having beef but this evening

But we have the roast for supper

We will have chicken and roasties for tea and I am going to do a chicken and leek pie too

Nope, we usually have alternating roast/stew.

Today thouh we are having pork steaks ina tomato & pepper sauce. yum.

Lamb.

Roast Potatoes.

Roast Parsnips, with parmesan cheese crust.

Carrots with roasted sesame seeds.

Yorkshire pudding.

I wish. DS is wolfing down a hotdog and I'm staring at the sad contents of our fridge and hoping DH will agree to a takeaway!

we are. we have to have one every week or dh complains. plus i got chicken that was reduced to £1. bargain!

is yorkshire pudding, just batter in what? special tin?

Roast chicken (free range!), roast potatoes, roast parsnips with honey, roast carrots with fennel seeds and lemon juice, spring greens, and maybe mashed swede too. Will have it early evening, about 5 or 6.

MB you are more than welcome, I shall have a glass of wine waiting for you. Red or White ?

Is MrMB allowed wine with his meds, or will you have to drink his share as well??

White for me please. Dh does have the odd class, but mostly he is happy with just water.
