I'm sat here munching on a tuna mayo and spring onion sandwich wondering of what other yummy fillings you mnetters enjoy that I can pinch!

Humous, grated carrot, lettuce and grape

Mashed potato with loads of butter

ready salted crisps and salad cream! you cant beat it!!

Mild cheddar, slices of Granny Smith apple and salad cream.
Off to make one now!

OK I like a sandwich with everything on it, when I was growing up this was called a "dead hand" and was a Sunday night supper special.

spread one slice of bread with mayo and the other with cream cheese for other soft cheese
then pile on:
cheese slices
cucumber
sliced cold new potatoes
ham/salami/other cold meats
sliced hard boiled egg
spring onions
lettuce
sliced beetroot
tomato
avocado

squish together so it doesn't all fall out

Grated cheese (pref a good strong cheddar), finely chopped red onion mixed together with salad cream. Mmmmm

If you are Irish......
Tayto and jam sandwiches
If not Irish, substitute Walkers cheese and onion for the Tayto!

Brie, rocket and cranberry sauce - but as we rarely have cranberry sauce and rocket - any Jam and Brie.

My best bought sarnie is an M&S pastrami and cheese with pickles on rye.It is fantastic.
