I still have the stock peach, but I just can't be bothered anymore, since I was pg with DD really. Life became more important and I have turned down offers. I try to scrap pics of the kids more and make a very occasional card.

Don't you remember when it was all full blast on A&C here.New hobby got roped in and spent hundreds of pounds. In fact went into Hobbycraft today to find girls are weird alphabets (sizzix) for 34.99. I paid 120.00.

Crafting on a forum is a baddddddddd thing.

I really need to lose the website.

UCM · 20/06/2007 20:41

Sorry to hijack thread btw, I just want people to know how addictive crafting is. LOL>

Peachy · 20/06/2007 20:59

Know what you mean UCM, not quite the thing it used to be is it? Mind you, pre- Uni I had the time and energy

purplemonkeydishwasher · 20/06/2007 21:00

at least we get to eat our cakes!

Slubberdegullion · 20/06/2007 21:03

Where's my Rosette then UCM??

Ran to the door this morning when the post arrived. Nadda.

UCM · 20/06/2007 21:31

Sorry sorry sorry. I have had a few crap days with children teething and the other one bashing the little one. Tomorrow I promise.

mambach · 20/06/2007 21:36

Know what you mean about cards UCM, I have been doing it for a few years and still am, but not spending much money on it now. Was doing Wedding Fayres and advertising - the lot!! "my stuff's here "

tigi · 20/06/2007 21:39

Did I volunteer to judge? I don't remember! Well it twill be an honour ladies. May the best cake win. Please would my associate judge make herself known to me prior to the approach to the cupcake tent on Sunday/Monday please...
can I change the theme now? I am the judge now after all. What I say goes. (clears throat importantly and puts hands on hips)
And do I get a special badge that says I am a Judge. I would like to feel important. After all, I didn't get one last time (clears throat and regains compossure).

mambach · 20/06/2007 22:01

I have got all my ingredients in, so will have to start baking!!

MrsFish · 20/06/2007 22:04

Depends what you want to change the theme to?

UCM · 20/06/2007 22:12

Mambach, it aint worth it. I must cancel my website. Remind me tomorrow please.

UCM · 20/06/2007 22:13

Right, back to business, what the fuck is the theme please ladies?

tigi · 20/06/2007 22:16

ooooh UCM I won't have that language if I am to be a judge. Wash your mouth out.

kickassangel · 20/06/2007 22:18

did anyone else notice that the pictures of Greeny's cake only had ADULTS sitting around the table???
I think she gets her friends round to dress up in party clothes & admire her cupcakes.

tigi · 20/06/2007 22:18

lol

tigi · 20/06/2007 22:19

Honestly though I am happy with any theme..

UCM · 20/06/2007 22:19

Yep total shitc**.........sorry am not allowed anymore to use that fowl language.

Right today I am a sparrow, will be twittery......

UCM · 20/06/2007 22:21

Can I make a suggestion.

Do what you like but base your cakes around a theme?

ie Slub did VSC with a union jack, a pic of the old qwwwwwweeeen and a rose.

So whatever your theme is, make it good.

Agreed?

UCM · 20/06/2007 22:22

I am thinking 'in the garden' for mine.

tigi · 20/06/2007 22:25

Why not everyone do a garden theme?

tigi · 20/06/2007 22:26

I loved that queen pic. thought it was the best one.
Got to nip of and finish cleaning fish out. takin blinkin ages. back in a mo...

UCM - I like your suggestion...ie someone may do flowers, someone else - animals, someone else - in the garden etc etc

UCM · 20/06/2007 22:33

OK, is that definite LL, because I will rethink. Say it now.
