Haven't read this thread but there is a programme on toniht at 9 pm, BBC 4 re the Women's Institute. Nt sure if you'll learn how to make the perfect cupcake or VSC but you never know!

Anyway I'm sure this thread is nothing to do with either by now

Well done to all, I really was blown away by some of the proper serious entries. I am very impressed, you all must have long thin delicate fingers and excellent eye sight .

hello, sorry I'm late everyone I just got the power back on about five minutes ago. grumble... At least Frizbe kindly called me to tell me all the excitment. Thank you very much Tigi, and be hugs to everyone involved. This was really fun and I must admit to almost being teary eyed, I never really won much before.. Feeling very proud. Now if only I can off load the rest of these here cupcakes.

Sorry ladies that I wasn't really about here last night (that is the second live judging I've missed), DH wanted the functioning computer, WI programme on, communication systems meltdown etc etc.

Anyway, I hope there is still plentiful MN Village Show love still about .

A RL friend gave me a huge lecture the other day that getting involved in a internet baking competition with a bunch of strangers was surely a symptom of mental unstableness (not sure if that is a word) and that I should start doing proper serious RL things instead.

My reply was that I was having fun. A lot of fun. Why can't mummies have some silly fun now and again.

So anyone up for more silly fun?
