Right ladies, new thread, let's get the rules set down so we can get baking

obviously i have to explain my cakes!!

first one: beach scene. water, sand, little red spade

second one: picnic scene (i made all the grass). the yellow thing is a sandwich. in the side view one you can see the lettuce and tomato peeking out. and the blakc thing is an ant. (the uninvited guest...)

Can I just point out the chocolate piles were made by my SN 3 year old so that they were recommended! I did like the Octopus though.

Are we doing certficates for all of the children who took part??

I just wanted to set the record straight that I made all of the icing things, bar the obvious jelly sweets and silver balls

Hands up those who would rather have pick n mix on their cakes, than dull old fruit? Too many hands to count? Thought so.

I did like daemara's ice crem though

i'm fed up now.
I've spent all day worrying about which piggin' cake should win, and now you are all crabby with me.

Oh my goodness I missed my name being called (thought this was at 8!)... I can't believe I got a first place in something... Woohoo!! And ds will be thrilled that his cupcake dino got a mention.

Huge congrats to everyone who joined in. I loved a lot of the other entries and will be making more cupcakes based on some soon!

So what's up for next week then?

I'm sorry peachy it was an oversight - I had so much to think about. My house never got cleared up today because I spent all day judging!

Good cakes all round, but I could have sworn that MrsFish would win one prize or another....

LOL LL- last thing I need to eat is a blardy cupcake! Been living off them for days!

9and at least if the kids weren't entered by mistakethey can't get sad- problem solved )

Still got that blardy red octopus in the fridge tho- had to remove from boys yesterday after majr sugar high! Cant bear to throw it, cant face eating it either!
