DaddyCool · 18/05/2007 17:46

any time. I'm a charmer.

DANCESwithnewlytannedlegs · 18/05/2007 17:51

SMASH is proper dirty food. Can't beat sausages, smash and instant gravy, YUM!

ktmoomoo · 18/05/2007 18:01

you certainly are daddycool lol

kraft dinner is usually about $1, can get it over here for about £1 - my daughter calls it

Canadian Pasta

she is a big fan, haven't tried adding ketchup or hotdogs, but my mum once was adding some leftover groundbeef to some KD, I said 'what's that' and she said it was cat food. Put me off for a while. bluegh

and was just thinking of crocs in Canada - I might start a trend this summer if I kit my girls out in doodles, everyone will wonder what ARE those fabby canvas creations!!

niceglasses · 18/05/2007 18:04

My eldest loves the much maligned Sainsburys in-a-tray-job. With gravy and sausages.......yum.

(only now and again honest)

Troutpout · 18/05/2007 18:06

Greensleeves · 18/05/2007 18:09

OMG I can't believe you are seriously proposing to feed instant mashed potato to a child! How could you even consider such a thing?

Honestly, some people

And LOLOLOLOLOL at "maybe a bit of salt"

Greensleeves · 18/05/2007 18:15

Damn right I wouldn't. I'd rather feed them freeze-dried rat vomit.

Of course I don't use salt in food destined for the plate of a young child, only a monster or a fool would do that.

I'm not dignifying the cheesestrings remark with a response.

CODalmighty · 18/05/2007 18:19

have never eaten or bought

Greensleeves · 18/05/2007 18:22

No, I don't "use" artificial foodstuffs. Is that so strange?

How you can put that stuff into the mouths of babes is just beyond me, it really is

niceglasses · 18/05/2007 18:23

essbee..........unless you have popcorn, wine, nachos, etc lined up I wouldn't go there.

Its a battle I've fought many times.......and usually lost. Food is a tug of war. You obviously don't love your kids if you give them smash or cheesestrings do you now?????????? And salt. Feck me.

Step away and go enjoy your Friday night.

(just had lush M&S shuve in micro curry and nan bread. yum. Kids had pop in oven chips and frozen stuff. Ate the lot. Yum)
