Katymac · 25/04/2007 20:29

I had HM chicken nuggets for tea - lots was full

I am sitting here absolutely desparate for either chicken stir fry or a bacon sandwich or a steak bagette with onions

I NEED some meat.....why??

Are you preggers?

Nikki76 · 25/04/2007 20:30

Are you anaemic at all??

NotQuiteCockney · 25/04/2007 20:30

I'd think low iron, or you need more protein?

Katymac · 25/04/2007 20:31

Not pregnant

Could be aneamic - doubt it tho'

Is it the salt?

colditz · 25/04/2007 20:32

here is a nicely balanced article which may inform you

colditz · 25/04/2007 20:34

Particularly appreciated "He is loosing IQ"

MrsApron · 25/04/2007 20:34

rofl at Colditz. have you been saving that one?

Katymac · 25/04/2007 20:35

I think I'd rather have the addiction

NotQuiteCockney · 25/04/2007 20:36

OMG colditz that page is incredible. Is it ... serious? It can't be, surely ...

I mean, vinegar and ginger are in the same category as drugs?

NotQuiteCockney · 25/04/2007 20:37

Since when are (nutjob) Christians opposed to people eating meat? Wtf?

NotQuiteCockney · 25/04/2007 20:37

The bible includes meat! Lots of it!

colditz · 25/04/2007 20:39

No, no, honestly, I found it just now. It's marvelous, isn't it?

I have nothing else to say about it. It's removed my words.

NotQuiteCockney · 25/04/2007 20:39

What's the difference between 'spices' and 'herbs'? Freaks.

NotQuiteCockney · 25/04/2007 20:40

Next time someone's going mad against aspartame, I will use that link. (I don't really have it, but don't think it's poison, either.)

Katymac · 25/04/2007 20:41

I always though (but am prepared to be wrong) that herbs were savory and spices sweet - with some exception obviously

But I really need meat atm

OP posts:
colditz · 25/04/2007 20:41

Well, it's because spices creat addictive alcohol in the digestive system, destroying it utterly.

colditz · 25/04/2007 20:42

have some meat if you need some, KM. I think if it is a need that strong, you should go with it.

Katymac · 25/04/2007 20:42

Now aspartame gives me the squits - even if I don't know I've had any

OP posts:
colditz · 25/04/2007 20:42

Don't get drunk though!

NotQuiteCockney · 25/04/2007 20:43

I thought spices were dried seeds and herbs were dried leaves? Ok, I will look it up.

Katymac · 25/04/2007 20:43

I think I will - but it will be my 4th meal

OP posts:
NotQuiteCockney · 25/04/2007 20:45

Katymac, didn't you say you'd lost lots of weight recently? So it's hardly like you're piling on the pounds. If your body wants something, have it.

Ok, I looked it up, traditionally, spices came from tropical and subtropical countries, while herbs were from temperate climates, and are generally green and leafy (basil, thyme, mint, etc).

But now the terms are largely interchangeable.

FrannyandZooey · 25/04/2007 20:45

Oh brilliant

I like the way there are several germs of truth in there just to totally fuck with your mind

it reminds me of the anti-protein man, do you remember?

NotQuiteCockney · 25/04/2007 20:46

Ice cream ferments in the blood?!?

NotQuiteCockney · 25/04/2007 20:46

I don't think I've seen the anti-protein man.

Yes, there are bits of sense in there. But then, substitute honey for sugar .
