bread with jam/nutella/cheese/cold meatz
or
cereal (shredded weat, porrige. weetabix)

Kelly1814 · 25/05/2015 21:04

Half a banana.

PhoebeMcPeePee · 25/05/2015 21:05

M-F it's cereal then toast plus milk or water to drink. For cereal we have weetabix, shreddies & porridge with or without raisins, berries, banana & sometimes honey. I buy the occasional box of Cheerios or Ricicles but they get demolished within about 3 days (I get through a lot of cereal with own family + 3-4 childminding children) so tend not to bother unless we've got friends staying or they're so cheap I can't resist Smile
Weekends we tend to have small bowl of cereal then something hot like pancakes with yogurt & berries, scramble egg on toast, big breakfast (bacon, eggs, mushrooms, beans etc) plus orange juice & lots of coffee. Grin

FiveExclamations · 25/05/2015 21:06

Toast with peanut butter, porridge, or non sugary cereal monday to friday.

Something with bacon or scrambled eggs at the weekend.

Pantone363 · 25/05/2015 21:07

Something out of the fruit bowl or toast or a crumpet or a yogurt

ToffeePenny · 25/05/2015 21:07

Total yogurt with a little grated dark chocolate or porridge with a dash of cold milk.

sebsmummy1 · 25/05/2015 21:13

Porridge with blueberries, banana, pine nuts and honey stirred through. Made with organic whole milk and a splash of cream Grin

Blueberrybaby · 25/05/2015 21:14

DD is just turned two. She has porridge with a handful of frozen berries thrown in, and a cup of milk most weekday mornings. Weekends I'll do an egg scramble with spinach, cheese, tomatoes thrown in and serve with wholemeal toast. Or I'll do greek yoghurt, fresh fruit, honey and wholemeal toast with peanut butter.

Pointlessfan · 25/05/2015 21:18

DD has Weetabix at nursery but she loves cereal so will pinch a bit of my Shredded Wheat even though we give her a few Cheerios to keep her going. This means she usually has 2 breakfasts!
When not at nursery she has porridge and sometimes some toast if we're having some.

GlowWine · 25/05/2015 21:19

Dd1 is 10 and has a bowl of porridge made with whole milk, topped with chopped apple or raisins, and some honey.

Dd2 is 7 and has recently settled on a 'poached' (microwave) egg, plain, followed by a slice of wholemeal toast with chocolate spread.

Both will drink cold milk, if anything.

At the weekend they might have other cereal or granola instead.

Cherrios, oatibix, shreddies and yogurt. With dutch sprinkles or sugar to make then edible.

Justwhy · 25/05/2015 21:22

Banana Porridge or weetabix on weekdays followed by toast, crumpet or English muffin.

Weekends Cheerios and boulders. DH does boiled eggs.

mrspremise · 25/05/2015 21:25

Cereal and toast in the week, then weekends I usually do bacon butties or boiled egg and soldiers. Sometimes DH does a big ol' cooked breakfast...

Pico2 · 25/05/2015 21:26

DD has a crumpet with marmite, toast with marmite, crackers with cream cheese and salami and a yogurt. At the weekends she is allowed Nutella and DH makes fab American style pancakes, so she has a Mickey Mouse shaped pancake with Nutella.

RatOnnaStick · 25/05/2015 21:36

Ds1 tend to ask for a crumpet with peanut butter and take about an hour to eat it. Sometimes he leaves half because he runs out of time when we leave the house at 8am having been given it at around 6.30am. He eats because he has to, not ever for enjoyment.

guineapig1 · 26/05/2015 09:03

Toast with philli or marmite followed by fruit and yoghurt during the weeks.
Scrambled eggs with spinach and smoked salmon/boiled eggs/poached eggs/beans on toast at weekends.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 26/05/2015 09:13

Porridge with raisins and some fruit. Only because dh makes it. If it were down to me they'd have toast or cereal

Chunkymonkey79 · 26/05/2015 09:16

16 mo has 1.5 weetabix and a pot of yoghurt.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 26/05/2015 09:19

Todays it was bakedbeans with a sausage.
Usually it's porridge with berries ir scrambled eggs sith bacon and tomatoes.

Margaritte · 26/05/2015 09:45

These are mostly similar to what I feed my own dc. I normally do cheerio's / shredded wheat / Weetabix / porridge. Sometimes toast or a yogurt to follow and perhaps a banana.

I had wondered ifI was the only one, and mums up & down the country were serving up home made muesli or freshly baked bread.

BlingBubbles · 26/05/2015 09:50

During the week DD3.5 normally has porridge with honey and banana and sometimes yogurt.

On weekends it can be anything, boiled eggs on toast, omlettes with a variety of fillings, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, toast with peanut butter. All depends on what we have and what she feels like.

Foxyboombastic · 26/05/2015 09:53

DS1 (7) two slices of toast with a scraping of Nutella, an apple and a glass of milk

DS2 (3) a bowl of Cheerios, a banana (or 2) and a glass of watered down apple juice.

At weekends, maybe pancakes and maple syrup with berries or some sausages, eggs and bacon. Both sons a healthy (low) weight and active.

DieselSpillages · 26/05/2015 09:55

DD 10 has a bowl of cooked frozen peas ... every morning ! She's strange like that, but at least it's healthy and nutritious.

pigwitch · 26/05/2015 10:01

It depends.
Cereal - shreddies, Rice Krispies or porridge.
Toast or crumpets with peanut butter or marmite.
Homemade brioche.

Dd2 really enjoys a boiled egg or a piece of fruit too.

BlueBananas · 26/05/2015 10:04

Mine have fruit, yoghurt and a choice of cereal (ready brek, Cheerios, corn flakes or Rice Krispies) toast and each week we'll have one of the following - crumpets, bagels, scotch pancakes or potato cakes.
So they have a choice of cereal or something else 'bready' but the fruit & yoghurt are non optional
All with a glass of fruit juice
