Nigella's slow roast pork, served with a pile of mash, with red cabbage and home made apple sauce?

All easy peasy stuff - but maybe too simple????

Agree Icelands food is not bad, made an effort to be GM, additive free before a lot of other firms. They also tried to do organic veg at the same price as non organic, don't know if they manged to keep up with that.

they didn't skribble, but do you know why? because people stopped buying it. it was really interesting, because they didn't put the price up, just made their Iceland own brand all organic. (i was thrilled).

anyway, all their sales plummeted, because customers saw organic on the label and assumed that it was more expensive even though the price hadn't actually changed. so they pulled the plug, annoyingly.

the guy in charge of iceland raises his own chickens so they were also one of the first firms not to add that weird yolk dye to the chicken feed.

but i wouldn't serve up their party food if i was hosting an event, much in the same way as i wouldn't use M&S's. i'd rather knock up some bruschettas and have done with it.
