Now that's a discussion worth having Hunkermunker - she needs to call herself PiriPiriCashewsfromM&S really
We have cauliflower cheese often in our house Twig. Sauce is best with leeks, smoked bacon and a good tasty Lancashire IMO.
Mmm, aloo ghobi too.
And Roman cauliflower, which dh concocts from caulflower, rich tomato sauce, plenty of onions and garlic...

Cauliflower or broccoli cheese with pasta is staple diet of my sporty DS. We add bits of bacon and put sliced tomatoes on top. Also good if you replace some of the milk with cider (but be careful as it may make the milk curdle). Serve with crusty bread (if you are slim)

lulumama · 27/09/2006 14:08

short answer -yes coz its yummy!!

worth looking at this for link to the breast milk soap thread!!!!!

I had to come and see why cauliflower cheese had managed to get over 80 posts!

Never tried it myself.

rebeka27 · 27/09/2006 14:28

Cauli cheese, yummy! Breastmilk soap!! Like, milk, from someone ELSES breasts! Then wash with it! Am I missing something here, I would rather invite Gordon Brown into my bath!

You spicy little snack you! Fancy that lunch soon then

lazycow · 27/09/2006 16:19

Lovely stuff with a roast dinner. Now gravy that is YUK - Do people actually make that?

Blandmum · 27/09/2006 16:20

I make wonderful gravy, from scratch. Fat and juices from the roasting tin, flour, veg stock and a splash of wine.

Yummy!

rebeka27 · 27/09/2006 16:22

Gravy, like gravy granules do you mean? I do add a spoonful of marmite though, quite the masterchef you see

Blandmum · 27/09/2006 16:26

No, gravy, properly made from the drippings of the roast pan, and flour, you make a roux, and then add the stock and wine!

We don't do gravy granules....making gravy is my real strong point in cooker

I know. How do you do it? I may start one saying "Do people actually breathe?" or some other equally inane question...

motherinferior · 27/09/2006 16:41

Twig, shall I make you a nice cauli cheese?

fullmoonfiend · 27/09/2006 16:43

I wouldn't have posted except for the fact I had just decided to have it for tea....

I know it's inane. But I like coincidences.

Twiglett · 27/09/2006 20:17

MI don't you dare
