One dd (15 months)

cornflakes w/ chopped up blackberries (they make the milk a wonderful purple colour) and strawberries.
Rice cake with a handful of raisins and some milk.
Cheese and vegetables on toast (cauliflower, carrot, courgette, peas-I do a steamer full of veggies every two/three days and keep them in the fridge to make quick meals)
Homemade vegetable pasty (prerolled pastry from the supermarket, thin layer of pesto and filled with cooked veggies, with beaten egg and sesame seeds on top to make it look nice. I make them small so they fit in her hand. Take about twenty minutes and I always have a supply in the fridge)
Risotto with pumpkin.
Grapes, pear, melon and a piece of flaky pastry with icecream.
Lots of water and milk (and a bit of my apple juice)

Feel I should come back and confess that after the good day yesterday (plums, nectarines, bananas, veggie stew etc) my children ate appallingly today:

readybrek with raisins
apple juice
plum (DS only)
banana
(and this is where it starts to go downhill)
one starburst sweet
pastie (DS)/sausage roll (DD)
ribena
milky way stars
3/4 white bread teacake with roast beef
1/2 pkt crisps
slice of swiss roll
kitkat

How bad is that? Tomorrow will be back on track though with a roast chicken dinner.

foxinsocks · 09/09/2006 20:51

lol I was thinking about this thread today (as we have had a lot of sweets today!)

brekkie - dd weetos, ds weetabix then I realised we had no bread or milk left so we decamped to Cafe Nero and the kids had milkshakes and chocolate muffins and chocolate coins
lumch - bacon, turkey, avo roll each
snack - family pack of rolos (between the 3 of us)
dinner - sausages, chips, carrots and broccoli followed by home made flapjacks that had far too much marg and syrup in so were completely gooey and probably sticking to the insides of our arteries as I speak!
