ScummyMummy · 08/09/2006 20:49

7 year olds:

rice krispies multigrain
school dinner
sweets and shared powerade (it's sweetie day and I sent them into the shop with dosh before I remebered to forbid the fizzy drinks)
garlic bread
margherita pizza
squid
banana split

omg- feel awful typing that- realise that they've had practically NO fruit or veg today...

Thomcat · 08/09/2006 20:50

But scrummy - you got your kids to eat squid. That's impressive, or would be in our house.

Mercy · 08/09/2006 20:53

Doesn't matter Scummy, it's only one day.

After all, how many of us adults really eat well all day and every day.

ScummyMummy · 08/09/2006 20:57

One of my son's is utterly stubborn, tc- he won't eat "mixed up foods" or most carbs but doggedly chomps through frogs legs, spicy chillis and seafood just because he knows most kids wouldn't... He is in short a (lovely) bananhead.

ScummyMummy · 08/09/2006 20:57

Good point, Mercy. Thanks both for making me feel better.

AmandaP · 08/09/2006 20:58

Breakfast - DS - shreddies (no sugar, semi-skimmed milk); DD - weetabix (ditto)

After school - three biscuits each; some grapes each
