Do you have a no, never food?

Mine is tongue. Once mistakenly ate a salad with what looked like raw furry bacon bits in it. Was gross. Learned it was cow tongue afterwards.

Other no, never stuff: oysters. Ugh. Did it once, tasted like cold semen.

Snake. I will never knowingly eat snake.

Milk. I refuse to drink milk. Hate it.

Anyone else got no, never, foods or drinks?

Oh yes, meat with fruit. The only exception being turkey and cranberry sauce.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 02/02/2014 12:24

Although I will try meat with fruit if it's a new combination or if presented with it someone's house, so it's not a total never, but never in the sense that I would never cook it or order it in a restaurant.

I used to rather like tongue in my pre-veggie days - there's not much I wouldn't try but I did find the idea of eating horse rather horrible (might have been given some in France on a field trip - that was the rumour anyway Hmm) Various odd bits of offal have to be the worst don't they? Eyeballs and such like? I never did like liver or kidney as a child.
I also used to hate all the milk puddings - but I love a nice homemade rice pudding these days.

JuanFernandezTitTyrant · 02/02/2014 13:00

Coleslaw. I have been know to ask for a clean plate if something comes with coleslaw, particularly if I have already specified NO FUCKING COLESLAW.

Anything else I could just about force down.

I adore all your list Couthy. I mean, like, really really love coconut and celery. Not together, obvs. And I like oysters, in fact could eat pretty much much everything listed so far.

Not a fan of mustard or mango.

WhereDoAllTheCalculatorsGo · 02/02/2014 13:57

I just googled Andouillette. Ew.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 02/02/2014 14:06

Rice pudding. Especially if it's got a skin on.
