Comfort food whats your fav???

Mines a slow cooked chicken casserole or chips covered in Loads of salt 7 vinegar.

Deserts would be Apple pie or warm chocolate fudge cake.

Spaghetti Carbonara a la Nigella but with added mushrooms - in fact that will be my first meal when this pregnancy is finally over.

a fish finger sandwich on thick white bread with loads of butter, salt and vinegar
marmite on toast
beans on toast (must be heinz)
crispy bacon and brie in a crunchy french stick type bread

I recently tried M&S baked beans and they were disgusting. Heinz is the only acceptable brand, I agree.

Heinz cream of tomato soup with crusty white bread and butter.

My favourite pud has to be a really good cheescake but if we're talking comfort food it would be hot chocolate sponge and custard.

Mmmm, me too for Heinz Cream Of Tomato soup with crusty bread. And bowl of Coco-Pops with full-fat milk. And granary toast with Philadelphia and tomato. MMMMMMMMMM.

I had a Big Mac, fries and a thick shake for supper. I was starving, and it hit the spot. That is rare though. Usually, comfort food is (naturally) chocolate. I also love crusty white bread with thick butter, toasted bagels with salmon and cream cheese, rare steak with chunky chips, 'proper' risotto (i.e. with cream), spaghetti carbonara, a good bottle of red wine...

Forgot about risotto, Chinchilla. Ultimate comfort food IMO. Annoyingly I still have strong aversion to alcohol this pg. Miss red wine soooo much - esp in this cold weather.
