Cooking Apples!

Lovely neighbour just gave me a huge bag of the things! Other than the obligatory crumble, what can I do with them? Can they be frozen in anyway?!

yep chop them up - toss them in a bit of lemon juice to stop going brown and stick them in the freezer.

If they aren't bruised just store them somewhere cool (frost free) until you decide what to do with them.
