I've heard of them but never had one and I'm on a diet

all hype

zippitippitoes · 23/06/2006 10:35

can you steal from your own fridge?

OP posts:
zippitippitoes · 23/06/2006 10:37

they are mad on designer labels..didn't know it extended to donuts

I also found a gucci hanbag in the lounge..it has a green snake clasp with a jewel face and is gold...now that would be stealing

I ate one for breakfast yesterday morning They are too good to resist. Just after eating one you can feel the sugar coarsing through your veins yum yum yum.

zippitippitoes · 23/06/2006 10:40

yes yesterday dp popped out to buy some milk and in the meantime girlfriend went into the kitchen without a top on..I had to shout dp when he came back not to go in there to save his blushes!

How does anyone spend £6.99 on 12 doughnuts? Or over £1 each if you buy them individually? They are not that good! Our local Tesco is selling them now, so they're hardly "designer"

Enid · 23/06/2006 11:03

no way is your tesco selling Krispy Kremes

thye are gorgeous

I would eat the whole box with two large mugs of milky coffee

lush

Enid · 23/06/2006 11:04

they might have a concession i suppose

but I bet they arent in the shop itself

zippitippitoes · 23/06/2006 11:06

as far as ds and gf are concerned expensive is a good subsititute for designer

I am contemplating shouting to them that I will stop eating them when they get up!

I have resisted so far though!

I love them - especially the plain ones with the icing on top. When they come out fresh and hot they are gorgeous. They are my special London treat.

zippitippitoes · 23/06/2006 11:07

apparently the gf had a black american express card in her father's name for her birthday

Enid · 23/06/2006 11:08

luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuusheroony

zippitippitoes · 23/06/2006 11:11

I have looked at them now..the boxes are nice they are quite retro

I tried one with an apple filling once and was a bit disappointed. So had to have another plain one to make up for it.
Apparently after Liv Tyler had her baby her dh bought a giant box of kk (with a diamond ring or similar trinket inside) to her hospital bedside.

zippitippitoes · 23/06/2006 11:13

I think I am too polite to take one without asking, even though it is my fridge

there is a whole celebrity gossip on the subject of krispy kremes then?

OP posts:
ellceeell · 23/06/2006 11:16

Definitely are selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts in 3 of my local Tesco's. There is a display cabinet where you can serve yourself individual ones or boxes of 12 originals or 12 assorted. Same packaging as in the concession in Bentalls.

Enid · 23/06/2006 11:19

you lucky lucky woman

zippitippitoes · 23/06/2006 11:20

Just looked on Krispy Kreme website for storefinder and they are ALL down in the south east with the exception of one in Birmingham.

Where are all these Tescos that sell them then? Anywhere vaguely north-ish?
