Hi all, I slow cooked a silverside beef joint yesterday, overcooked it a bit so it's dry in places, have over 400g left. I'm not v good with leftovers, what can I do with it? I also have half a jar of BBQ sauce, could I make something with that?? Or maybe beef and tomato soup, can u use a leftover beef joint for this??

TIA

Make a pie. Mince up the beef, add onion, seasoning and gravy. shortcrust pastry. Delicious.

There are some ideas here:

If it's really dry you could slice it and gently warm it up in gravy.

Stovies!!. And it's getting to be the right weather for them too.

I usually cut into small cubes and either use for a spaghetti sauce instead of mince, or make a cottage pie - the latter if I've also got leftover gravy.
