practically nothing hereI think as we are apparently going to the supermarket at 10.00pm after the football Shock

LadySherlockofLGJ · 12/06/2006 15:56

Chicken marinaded in mustard and honey, done on the BBQ with new potato salad.

TooTicky · 12/06/2006 15:57

How about fruit salad? It's nutritious and just right in this heat.

74Jamie · 12/06/2006 15:57

dh would be [shocked] - not a mans meal in his book

My DSs are having cheesy scrambled egg and baked beans (I am ill so not cooking) and I will probably just have a sandwich as DH is out tonight.

schneebly · 12/06/2006 15:58

zippitippitoes · 12/06/2006 16:02

if i had the ingredients i could fancy gazpacho..in fact might be able to knockout a version with tinned toms!

Toothache · 12/06/2006 16:04

I'll be having a bottle of Chardonnay.

LadySherlockofLGJ · 12/06/2006 16:05

Bring a bottle Schneebly and you will be welcome.

zippitippitoes · 12/06/2006 16:07

chilled white winne would be lovely but I've started a 100 days of losing weight so alcohol is being foregone for the duration sadly

MeAndMyBoy · 12/06/2006 16:10

Might be being really daft here but....
LGJ is the marinade just mustard and honey? or is in mixed in oil?

Thanks

schneebly · 12/06/2006 16:12

A lovely spiced rice salad with nuts and seeds in, served with some meat (don't ask me what sort, I'm veggie )for DP and DD, and with a quorn thing for me and DS.

speedymama · 12/06/2006 16:27

Chicken Curry Jamaican stylee - made it last night and it will be yummylicious as the flavours will have had time to developSmile. Will have it with naan bread.

emmawill · 12/06/2006 16:29

BBQ, dh always does that so I think thats the best way of getting out of cooking! Grin

foxinsocks · 12/06/2006 16:30

we are either having sausages or steak - haven't quite decided yet - if it's sausages, we'll have cabbage and chips and it it's steak, we'll probably have mushrooms and chips

was going to make a fruit flan for pudding but it's too hot to cook so we'll prob have fruit salad instead

motherinferior · 12/06/2006 16:32

No idea, DP's cooking.

Enid · 12/06/2006 16:38

steaks on the bbq
salad and maybe chips
