I think Lloyd Grossman's tomato and roasted garlic is the nicest one I've found so far but have you found a really yummy one?

Most I have tried are really bad, but I agree Lloyds are good: I like the chilli one. I know it is not quite answer to your thread - but I often opt for a good pesto instead.

LoganMummy · 17/05/2013 22:32

I think Lloyd's are too oily. I love the M&S tomato and garlic one!

PunkyPod · 17/05/2013 22:32

Seeds of change.

HeavenlyYoni · 17/05/2013 22:34

Gordon Ramsey's with red wine, by a country mile. But, since I started doing my own, mine is better. Let me know if you would like the recipe.

HappyGirlNow · 17/05/2013 23:29

Lloyds chilli one mmm Oh and not quite a sauce but Pataks curry paste is the best..

HappyGirlNow · 17/05/2013 23:30

heavenlyYoni I'd like the recipe please Grin

HappyGirlNow · 17/05/2013 23:31

Oops missed pasta sauce [blush[

EarlGreyTeabag · 17/05/2013 23:31

Loyd's for us here too.

Juniperdewdropofbrandy · 17/05/2013 23:33

Yes I like Lloyds chilli one too but usually make my own.

Cheap carton of passata for 29p, chopped onion and garlic fried, add some herbs (basil for us) maybe some red pepper and mushroom? Pour on passata and simmer for 10 mins. Add whatever you like tbh.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 17/05/2013 23:34

Seeds of change.

I used to buy them for very quick meals but they leaped up in price so much that it put me off.

tethersend · 17/05/2013 23:35

Sacla olive and tomato.

emstats · 17/05/2013 23:38

juneybean · 17/05/2013 23:40

I do enjoy the homepride tuna pasta bake one Grin

Phantomteadrinker · 17/05/2013 23:41

I actually really like the lidl's ones, chunky vegetable is the best

carolinecordery · 17/05/2013 23:55

Thank you all very much for your tips. I do like the Lloyd G tomato and red wine one a lot too but found not that many shops stock it anymore. I'm going to keep a look out for some of the others. in our house, pasta and sauce and frozen garlic bread is the can't be arsed TV dinner, so I don't think I'll be making my own sauce regularly but I'll try it one day.

I third Seeds of Change they are delicious.

MaryMotherOfCheeses I found them for 99p in my local B&M the other week. I hoard them whenever I see them on offer.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 17/05/2013 23:56

Ooh! Not sure we have B&M here, but I'll keep my eyes open.

Foxred10 · 17/05/2013 23:58

soontobeslendergirl · 18/05/2013 00:07

loyds tomato & basil - the original and the best :)

Boys are partial to the sacla tomato & marscapone stir in one too - that ones good 'cos you can keep it for a couple of weeks after opening it.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 18/05/2013 00:20
