i'll tell you what is really nice... baked salmon! and SO easy.

just buy some fillets from the fish counter in the supermarket (cheaper than getting it pre-packed)
put in a dish and cover with foil and bake for aboiut 15 minutes.

i actuall have some nice recipes for marinades too if you're interested.

cod · 25/04/2006 11:35

looks yummy. we eat lots of fish... am only carnivore in household of veggie / fish only types.
staples are:
pasta / spicy tomato sauce / sardines / breadcrumbs
large king prawns / with garlic / parsley / chilli / lemon / crusty bread / salad
seafood risotto
fish curry
any good for starters. try to get oily fish down dss's as much as poss.

I think oats are very good for lowering cholestorol, cod, and also soya, or did I make that bit up?

Sorry to hear of dh's dx.

ggglimpopo · 25/04/2006 11:38

Finely slice leeks lengthwise (or use very thin baby leeks and slice down middle. Place on baking tray. Wrap monkfish tails in bacon slices and place on leeks. Add splash of olive oil/white wine. Bake in hot oven for 15 mins (check at 10). Yum.
