Ideas for vegetarian sandwich fillings?

Sorry, like I said on my other post I keep asking food questions but...

what are your favourites that don't include cheese?!

Everyday we seem to have cheese/tomato, cheese/branston, cheese/beetroot, cheese/salad........getting a bit bored of it now:)

ds likes peanut butter and I've found one that has natural ingredients at last! I get it in Morrisons, it's called Whole Earth and it has no sugar and only a little bit of sea salt.

I have tried him with marmite but he screws his face up and shivers!

Ds had houmous tonight thanks to this! :o think he likes it!

tonight I tried cauldron roasted vegetable and feta pate and it is sooooooooo gorgeous!

Will be buying it all the time now! Also got a princes spicy bean pate to try too:)

Ooh Laura, that roasted veg pate is fantastic isn't it? I am another houmous fan, and I think cottage cheese is quite nice on crisp toast, otherwise the texture is a bit soggy for my liking :)

Meant to add what about vegetarian sausages served cold in slices? Quorn ones are nice, or RealEat do some very nice herby ones which you can get in Holland and Barrett.

Cauldron also do a really nice lentil, basil & tomato pate. Its delicious!
