I made some biscuits lately- the type you roll into a sausage then cut slices, and the recipe said to freeze and slice off as required - fab, fresh biscuits whenever needed. Have you discovered or know of things to freeze other than the usual (for me that means stock/soup/chilli/bolognese/stew etc). Would love to find more!

Meant to say this was a Jamie Oliver trick I read in one of his books and it does work wonderfully!

No-one has so far mentioned herbs - you can freeze chopped mint, parsley coriander etc., with no liquid added, store in small freezer tubs until needed, then use what you require. Great if you grow your own, or buy a big bunch from the supermarket.

Some interesting ideas but I don't see how chopping stuff up and freezing it saves time. Yes, you can cook more quickly on one day but don't you have to find the time to chop it up on an earlier day and remember to defrost it on the day you need it?

Has anyone got anything super timesaving that isn't moving time from one day to another?
