What can you do with bacon?

I normally cut it up and mix with honey and mayo but am a bit bored of that now.

Will be having it with salad and jacket pots.

Any fabulous ideas?

Grill it and serve between two slices of fresh buttered white bread.

The best thing to do with bacon, IMO.

bacon and avocado

is this to go with jackets

cut it up, and a couple of spring onions, mash the avocado with a good dollop of mayonnaise, add black pepper and a squeeze of sweet chilli sauce

Dee-fckn-licious

Nbg · 13/02/2006 12:47

lol SW

Maybe if I nipped over to Sheffield's Waitrose, I may have a better chance.

Erm, he doesn't like spicy things, no pasta but that doesn't really matter if I'm doing with jack pots.

I have all salad things, most cupboard bits.

Never mind edible thongs just lay it across ones naked body.

I may save it for tomorrow then.

I'm stumped

I think the Hellmans and cruchny bacon bits ( and I'll have you know this is torturing me posting this as i am on a very successul but low carb diet) is the way to go. How about adding some Branstons or sweetcorn or frozen tiny prawns and some lemon juice

Nbg · 13/02/2006 12:58

Would use philli but have just eaten the last for dinner

Branston sounds good and I have sweetcorn thanks to the big Tescos F*&! up.

she can't do carbonara, he doesn't like pasta

It's Barnsely, come on do keep up

(Although I am a southern expat Jessy now, I was born in Huddersfield so I am only teasing)

Bacon and egg pie is delicious. Grill the bacon then lay out in a pastry base in a pie dish. Break whole eggs into the pie. Put the pie lid on, brush with a bit of egg and bake for around 40 mins at 180 degrees.

I learned to cook this when I was about 11 and it's been a fave ever since.

Can't do pasta WR (btw I love your MN name )

In a normal world dh would eat the bloody stuff and I would cook it frequently with gorgeous sauces and beautiful foods.
It's my own fault for marrying a steak and chips man.

Thought about that mawbroon.

May do that next week as I made Lamb pie other day and the flour I have left is going towards a Marslady special

Wrap each piece of bacon round a piece of chicken, put in a large roasting tin with chopped up potatoes, a bit of salt and a lot of oil. cook for 45mins-1 hour. Serve with salad. Georgeous!

Oh yeah and you'll love this.

He doesn't like cheese.

May do the mix in the jackets thing.

I was going to do wrap around chicken but have no chicken breasts.

Mother Hupboards here.
